1. Make certain your radio is turned “On.” (Rotate the volume knob)
2. Make sure your radio is on “Channel 1” (Rotate Channel Control Knob)
3. Push and hold down the “Push-To-Talk” Button.
4. Position the radio away from your mouth at least 12 inches.
5. Take your time, speak with a loud voice, talk SLOWLY & CLEARLY.
6. Release the “Push-To-Talk” button when you finished with the message.
